Life Lately

We both love our new jobs! It's been so fun for both of us to be treated right at our jobs, and enjoy our days at work. I know for me, it has changed my whole life. I am not stressed like I was before, and that is the best.

I have been eating better, and exercising. We are starting a softball league with his old work, and we started practicing this last week. I love playing with Jimmy, he is so talented. Its fun having him teach me more about baseball that I didn't know. And lets not forget how attractive he is when he plays ;) I have missed playing sports, and so its even more fun being able to play them with Jimmy. Excited for the games to start, there is nothing like the adrenaline you get in a competitive sport. From all the exercise, I have lost 8 lbs this last few weeks! Its such a good reward for all the hard work I have been putting in. Especially since I am so SORE. haha.

I have been to the doctor a few times this last few months as well. I finally got me insurance through work, so I decided to finally go and see what these stomach issues I have been having for a few years are about. Of course, its not as easy as you hope it to be. So I have no answers yet, but at least we know its nothing serious. I have had my blood taken a few times, had an ultra sound, a colonoscopy, and upper scope. All these tests, (embarrassing might I add)having apts in the hospital, even though Im not dying or anything, its not fun and can give you anxiety for sure. But having Jimmy there with me has made it easier. So next step is keep track of what I eat and when and what kinds of pains I get. I have a follow up apt in 2 months. I hope we can find an answer soon. Just so I can put this all behind me and know what to do for future. To not have pain, have the energy I should have and be able to not worry about it.

Jimmy and I were sick last weekend, so we stayed home. Hopped up on cold meds, watching tv, and playing xbox. It was no fun being sick, especially both of us. But even though he was sick, he insisted on being the one to take care of me, instead of me take care of him. :) Of course you would think staying home would be boring. We had our moments, of lets get out of the house! But the whole time, I had fun, because I love spending time with him. He is always so positive and smiling, making jokes and making me laugh all day long. I am so lucky to have him as mine. We celebrated our 3 year anniversary a few weeks ago, and it is so weird its been 3 years. At the same time, its like I have known him my whole life, and weird its ONLY been 3 years. When I had first realized I loved him, he had been sick with a cold. He was trying to be tough, and not let me take care of him. He didn't want to sleep since I was hanging out with him. But he finally gave in and took some meds I gave him, and fell asleep on my bed. Seeing him crawled up in a ball sleeping, knowing he wanted to be awake to be with me, made me realize, I love him. And then here we are 3 years later, both sick with a cold, and I love him even more.

-He hates pictures, says it takes his soul.- haha I love you my "spiderman"

Live life to it's fullest!

Jimmy got a new job, and now works at Mark Miller Toyota, as their marketing, graphic designer! He loves his new job, and I do too! I love seeing him so happy, and doing what he loves and does best! :) He has a later schedule than he had before, and unlike me, where I would take advantage of that time in the morning to sleep, he wakes up and exercises before work each day. He makes me want to do better, and make better use of my time. He has such energy and drive to do what he wants in life.

I will be starting a new position at my work beginning of December, and I am stoked! I will be doing something completely different than I what I have been doing for the last few years. Its going to be an awesome new challenge, but also release of so much stress. What I need now, is a fresh start. Im looking forward to change, which is not what you would normally hear me say about change. I hope I can take this opportunity to not only learn more at work, and broaden my knowledge, but to learn more about me, to become better all around, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I want to learn from my mistakes in the past, and let myself grow. I hope I can take Jimmy's example, and find the energy I need to do the things I love. I want to look back and say I lived life to it's fullest!

Lexi's Bridal Shower & Party

Lexi's wedding went pretty well considering it was the first wedding we had ever put together. I dont have all pics I want to show, so here are a few from her shower my mom and I threw for her, and the bachelorette party I put together for her. I will post pics and hopefully video later of her special day.

Staycation

I have been a slacker on blogging! So let me try and update the last few months.
Jimmy and I went on a staycation, aka vacation at home. We took a week off of work together, and did things around here that we normally dont do,as well as staying home and being lazy, and mostly eating out to lots of places. We went to the Aquarium, Zoo, Drives up canyons, Rodizio Grill, new place called Scaddys, and our favorite, Pazzo Vito Deli. Jimmy ate some different things at Rodizio Grill, like Quail Egg, and Chicken Heart. I was just great with my turkey wrapped in bacon, MMMM. My favorite part was the Aquarium, I pet a sting ray, saw penguins and the octopus get fed, and saw a HUGE Anaconda, and cute small seahorses! I also saw the fun Elephant family at the Zoo, and a male Turtle trying to climb on top of the female Turtle, wink wink. haha. Here are some pics of what we saw at the Aquarium and the Zoo.

Wedding Fever

So I know my next post should be about my fun times playing video games with Jimmy, but I have slacked. I am a slacker. But we have made plans to make one night a week, be our stay at home date night, and play some video games. :)

So my sister is getting married! I am so so excited for her and Shawn. Ever since they have set their date, My mom, Lexi, and I have been having crazy fun planning and getting things ready for it. She will be a beautiful bride. :) More blogging on our adventures to come!

Plus, i need a break from all this wedding stuff. But here is a pic of my handsome man in a tux at our friends Shawn and Viola's wedding :)

Couch Potato

I changed my background to go with this post. I needed a change, and thought, why not go with a theme? haha. Plus this blog isn't just about what I like, its about what James and I like :)
So I've decided I need to start doing more of things I love to do, and doing things James loves to do. Instead of the boring, wake up, go to work, go home, get in pj's, eat junk food, watch tv and fall asleep on the couch. Doing this is enjoyable, but not every day.
Blogging is something I love to do, and so Im going to try and blog about all the fun things I am going to start doing with my time, instead of being a couch potato.
First one is, play more video games. I know you are thinking, wasn't the point to get off the couch? But when I play video games, I get into it, and I get a good sweat going and my heart is pumping! haha. I'm a very competitive player. Video games is one of the things that brought James and I together, and I miss doing that. Even though he is so much better at it then I am, and can laugh at me at times, I still love it :)
I am excited to start enjoying more things in life, and not being a couch potato. And most of all, excited to spend it with my best friend!
