Elizas Bridal Shower

One of my best friends, Eliza, got married a few weeks after Jimmy and I did. Was a great wedding in Vegas, so so happy for them :) I threw her a bridal shower, and she always wanted to have Alice in Wonderland themed wedding, so I gave her one for her Bridal Shower. We did a "Unbirthday Bridal Tea Party". I had so much fun planning and decorating for this. Jimmy made the invites :) My mom helped out a ton, and Im so glad I have her :) This looked so awesome outside, and second it party started, it decided to rain :( so we rushed and brought it all inside. Still worked out perfect I think :)

Wedding Adventures

We had our engagements taken, and had a blast! Jimmy brings out my best smile :)My sister Lexi did my hair and makeup, and made me feel like a famous person. She was fixing my makeup and hair all night, and I felt so awesome! Jimmy then made our invitations with those pictures, and they turned out awesome! He is so talented, and he's mine! ;) I then got my bridals taken, and it was so much fun spending the night with my mom and sis, walking around like a princess. Getting ready for the big day was stressful at times, but overall so much fun! My mom, sister and I made as much of the stuff, as we could. Then Jimmy helped out with using his computer skills, and handyman skills. My mom did most of the decoration, with her amazing skills! :) My wedding and My sisters a few years ago, has brought her to the start of something shes dreamed of! She wants to decorate weddings, for brides out there. I cannot wait to see her soar with this :) My sister did my bouquet and wedding jewelry. My mom and I painted the cornhole toss game (after Jimmy and Bristol bought wood, screws etc and made them), the bowties for the men and nephews, and some candle sticks, and the blackboards with words on them throughout the decoration. I made the bracelets for my bridesmaids, mom and mom in law, and niece/flower girl. Also, made hangers for bridal party and parents and in laws, the sign in book, and little things like a poem to go with groomsmen clothes. Lexi and my mom threw me an awesome bridal shower, and it was a great turn out with all my great friends. Lexi also threw me a fun bachelorette party! I had such a great time planning our wedding,shopping with Jimmy and his parents for his "suit", shopping with Eliza my bridesmaid for my wedding shoes, finding the right bridesmaid dress for both girls, cake tasting with Jimmy, looking for a long time and finally buying the baseball black ring for Jimmys wedding ring, Jimmy letting me splurge and get the veil I wanted, my work throwing me a "wedding lunch", meeting with wedding venue on details, and Jimmy letting me splurge again on the chandeliers, rehearsing ceremony speech with our bestest friend Tyler Decol, many shopping days with my mom and sister, and putting all details together. Our Wedding Day, was hands down the best day of my life. I married my best friend, the one man on this earth, that truly completes me. All that mattered that day, was him. Everything around me, Family, Friends, decorations, food, all tied it together. I couldn't imagine that day going any better than it did. Thank you to all who helped make that happen. Our Honeymoon was a ton of fun, best part was knowing I was his wife. Hearing him call me Mrs Oaks throughout the week, was so awesome :) We went to Vegas, stayed in a way awesome room, with most comfy bed ever. Ate tons of good food, did lots of walking, met Pete Rose, bought us new shades, saw really cool stuff. Just the two of us, so freaking awesome :) I love you babe, more than words can describe :) The rest of decorations and pics of wedding day will come later! Can't wait to see them all and share them :)
